DIY Hunny Pots

So my family and I have been planning and crafting like crazy for my cousins up coming baby shower. The theme is Winnie the Pooh and we have created a ton of cute little things that really bring out the theme! For center pieces and favors we created the most adorable tera cotta flower pots painted like hunny pots from Pooh. The center pieces are also doubling as door prizes. It’s a toofer! These are super simple, and can be used for any pooh fanatics needs, whether it be as a pen holder, decoration, or flower pot!

Materials:

  • Tera cotta pots- any size
    • we used two different sizes and both are pretty small
  • Yellow and black acrylic paints
  • paint brushes

Alright! First we painted the top portion of the pots with the yellow and then kind of just blobbed the paint down with the paint brush to create a dripping effect. Then, with the black paint, painted on the word HUNNY, with a backwards N of course! That’s it! They dried quickly and turned out super cute. We made 8 of the big ones and about 30 little ones. The big ones will have marigold flowers and little pooh stick ins for the center pieces and door prizes and the smaller ones will be filled with teddy grams! SO CUTE.
